Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician for a second-shift manufacturing opportunity in Claremore. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment problems, and repairing machinery to help maintain safe and efficient production operations.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience using hand and power tools, and basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Candidates should be comfortable diagnosing equipment problems, completing repairs, and identifying potential issues before they result in production downtime.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous maintenance experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Experience using hand and power tools
Basic electrical knowledge
Basic hydraulic systems knowledge
Basic pneumatic systems knowledge
Ability to diagnose equipment and machinery problems
Ability to read technical manuals
Ability to follow schematics and work instructions
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to complete maintenance documentation accurately

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery
Inspect equipment for wear and developing problems
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues
Assist with electrical troubleshooting and repairs
Troubleshoot hydraulic systems
Troubleshoot pneumatic systems
Diagnose equipment failures
Repair machinery and production equipment
Replace worn or defective components as required
Complete assigned maintenance work orders
Document completed repairs and maintenance activities
Assist with equipment installations
Support machinery modifications
Test equipment following applicable repairs
Communicate significant maintenance concerns promptly
Maintain tools and maintenance equipment
Keep work areas clean and organized
Follow all company safety procedures
Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
Preventative Maintenance
Candidates may regularly:
Complete scheduled equipment inspections
Perform routine preventative maintenance
Identify signs of equipment wear
Inspect mechanical components
Perform basic servicing and adjustments
Replace applicable worn components
Identify developing problems before equipment failure
Document completed preventative maintenance
Help reduce unexpected production downtime
Mechanical Troubleshooting & Repair
Diagnose mechanical equipment problems
Inspect machinery for damaged or worn components
Determine applicable repair needs
Complete basic mechanical repairs
Replace components as required
Make applicable equipment adjustments
Test machinery following repairs
Communicate more complex equipment concerns when necessary
Electrical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
Candidates should have basic knowledge of:
Electrical systems

Mechanical components
Responsibilities may include identifying system problems, troubleshooting basic issues, and completing applicable repairs within the employee's training and authorization.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
Manual dexterity required for tools and equipment repairs
Ability to safely work around industrial machinery
Comfortable performing physically active maintenance work
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Ability to wear all required PPE
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and maintenance environment
Regular work around production machinery, mechanical systems, tools, and equipment
Hands-on position involving preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment support
Consistent 4:30 PM 1:00 AM second-shift schedule
Strong emphasis on equipment reliability, safety, problem-solving, and dependable attendance
