What You'll Do as the Maintenance Technician:- Follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment and building infrastructure to prevent breakdowns
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair production equipment and infrastructure systems
- Conduct analysis on machine failures to implement corrective actions
- Log maintenance activities, including repairs, modifications, and preventative measures
- Effectively communicate equipment status, repair progress, and maintenance needs to team members and other departments
- Participate in initiatives to enhance process efficiency
- Build partnerships with internal departments and external vendors
- Engage in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge
- Work individually or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
- Respond to clean-up of blood-borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials
What You Need to Bring to the Maintenance Technician Role:- High School Diploma or GED required
- Broad understanding of industrial maintenance systems and repair
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of mechanical systems such as industrial pumps, motors (AC/DC), pneumatic/hydraulic components, gearboxes, bearings, chains/belts, etc.
- Familiarity with electrical control components (e.g., breakers, relays, switches)
- Basic understanding of plumbing systems; PLC-controlled systems preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts/scissor lifts, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
