This is a 2nd shift position.
Compensation:
- $29.78 - $37.33/hr., depending on experience
- $8,000 skilled trade bonus paid out over 12 months ($1,000 after 1 month, $2,000 paid at 3 & 6 months, and $3,000 paid at 12 months)
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Technician or similar Engineering degree/diploma/certificate or Trades Qualification and significant equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge in the following software packages: Allen Bradley RS Logix 500, 5000, Factory Talk View Studio, Allen Bradley Panel Builder32, Omron CX-Programmer, Omron NT-series Support Tool an asset.
- Knowledge of PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting along with Robot programming and troubleshooting is an asset.
- Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot industrial networks (Device Net, EthernetIP).
- Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot machine safety circuits and applications (ABB Jokab).
- Understanding of VFD, DC and Servo Drive systems.
- Familiar with Vision Systems (Keyence, Cognex, Omron).
- Previous experience and exposure to robotics (ABB, Motoman) an asset.
- Understanding of Data Tracking and the use of Barcode Scanners or RFID
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, schematic design specification, update drawings as required.
- Understanding of welding and welding processes.
- Knowledge of and experience with panel building.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing and able to work overtime as per job requirements.
- Receptive to feedback, willing to learn and embrace continuous improvement.
- Willingness to build strong working relationships and contribute to a positive work environment.
