Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

Our Salt Lake facility is adding a Maintenance Technician to our team on 2nd shift.

JOB SUMMARY

This critical role will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining production equipment in a team environment. Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Reading and understanding engineering prints and schematics
• Diagnosing mechanical issues
• Dismantling and repairing machines
• Replacing defective parts
• Performing preventive maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with outside contractors as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
  
  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma of Equivalent; post-secondary training or coursework is preferred
• 2+ years of previous experience as a manufacturing maintenance technician

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Above average mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50lbs
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, subject to noise and extreme temperatures
