    Description

    HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the plastics industry in Arlington, TX!

    Salary: $33–$39/hr

    Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts, overtime as needed)

    Location: On-site in Arlington, TX


    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, and utility equipment

    • Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems and AC/DC drives to minimize downtime

    • Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete timely repairs

    • Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and procedures

    • Complete preventative maintenance tasks and accurately document work in CMMS

    • Communicate equipment issues and updates with production and maintenance teams

    • Assist with parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components

    • Follow all safety procedures including OSHA standards, LOTO, and Arc Flash protocols

    • Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with facility standards


    Education Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED required

    • Associate’s or Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

    • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents

    • Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment repair

    • Knowledge of PLC systems and industrial controls

    • Familiarity with CMMS systems for work order tracking

    • Understanding of manufacturing safety standards and procedures

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warm, humid environments

    • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
