Position Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift to support equipment reliability and facility performance at our Euclid, Ohio manufacturing facility.
This role is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity. The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, support equipment installations, and work closely with Production and Engineering to improve equipment reliability and overall manufacturing performance.
This is a hands-on technical role for an experienced maintenance professional who is mechanically and electrically skilled, comfortable troubleshooting complex industrial equipment, and able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, temperature control, and combustion systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Support combustion furnaces, including temperature controls and minor refractory repairs.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of manufacturing equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and other technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records within the CMMS.
- Partner with Production and Engineering on root cause analysis, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow OSHA requirements, LOTO procedures, facility safety standards, and all required maintenance practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and high-pressure hydraulic systems
- Experience with temperature controls, combustion furnaces, and refractory systems preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Experience troubleshooting automated and industrial production equipment
- Experience using CMMS systems for maintenance documentation and work orders
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause problem-solving abilities
- Technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to urgent equipment issues during 3rd shift
