Summary

We are currently looking for a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician. The Technician will be responsible for a variety of complex operations and duties in a production environment, including monitoring equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Carry out both preventative (scheduled) and corrective (as-needed) maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including production machinery, packaging lines, and HVAC systems. 
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical problems in systems such as fillers, tablet presses, motors, pumps, and control systems. 
  • Operate within a strict regulatory environment, following GMP, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety standards to ensure product quality and safety. 
  • Accurately record all maintenance activities, equipment data, and parts used. 
  • Work closely with engineers, quality assurance, and production staff to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support investigations. 
  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping and safety in all work areas. 

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • A high school diploma or GED is the minimum, but a technical diploma or associate degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, preferably within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience with automated equipment, including robotics, pneumatics, and sensors.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and a CMMS is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail for precise documentation and work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
