The 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for executing preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment within a busy food processing facility. This role works alongside a growing maintenance team and supervisor to keep operations running efficiently through the overnight shift. Key Responsibilities:
Execute PMs of plant equipment and repairs around a busy production schedule
Work with contractors: electricians, refrigeration contractors, plumbers, etc.
Work with an evolving maintenance team and maintenance supervisor
Create work orders and maintain inventory for replacement parts
Perform general maintenance on OEM and custom fabricated equipment
Communicate with team members on plant issues and work to improve plant operations
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial mechanic environment
