We are currentlyseekingaskilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain an 50-unit apartment community in Oakhurst CA. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and values creating a safe and well-maintained environment for residents.
Experience withgeneral building maintenance and landscapingis preferred, and experience withaffordable housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD)is a plus.
WhatYou'llDo
As the Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure the property is wellmaintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
Completing maintenance requests and work ordersin a timely mannerPerforminggeneral maintenance tasksincluding painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairsAssistingwithpreventative maintenanceto ensure building systemsremainin good working conditionMaintaining thegrounds and landscapingto support strong curb appealAssistingwithannual apartment inspectionsandidentifyingmaintenance needsWorking with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order suppliesMaintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staffReporting lease or house rule violations when observedResponding appropriately toemergency maintenance situationsFollowing company policies and procedures

Good communicationand interpersonal skillsAbility to interact positively with residents, vendors, and team membersStrong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsComputer literacy (Outlook, Teams, Work Order Ticketing System)Professionalism and strong listening skillsExperience with subsidized housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is helpfulGeneral building maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and paintingGeneral groundskeeping and landscaping experience
