Location: Adrian, Michigan
Schedule: Full time 40 hours per week

Do you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in keeping spaces functional, and welcoming? We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to support a 114-unit Affordable Living Community—ensuring residents have a clean, well-maintained environment to call home.

What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Worker, you’ll play a key role in keeping the property running smoothly and safely:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and units
- Complete work orders efficiently, including light plumbing, electrical, and drywall repairs
- Maintain building interiors and exterior grounds, including lawn care and snow removal
- Prepare and clean vacant apartments for new residents
- Respond to maintenance requests and address issues with minimal supervision
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and materials
- Support general housekeeping and upkeep of shared spaces
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least 1 year of general maintenance or handyman experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, and general repairs
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors, and contractors
- A customer-service mindset with compassion for individuals in affordable housing communities
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
Additional Requirements
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a good driving record
- Current automobile insurance (personal vehicle may be required for work use)
- Availability for on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays as needed
