Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician - Afternoon Shift to join our Kings Mountain, NC site
The range for this position is $23.41 - $35.32 per hour with scheduled pay increases at 6 months and 1 year of service.
The core hours are 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm.

Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton''s plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
What you'll do:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment to support safe, reliable operations and the achievement of plant business goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
2 years of manufacturing-focused maintenance experience or closely related experience, supported by training in mechanics, electrical systems, industrial maintenance, and/or automation
Hands-on experience performing both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints to support equipment repair or rebuild activities
Working experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for asset management and maintenance tracking
