About the position: Manufacturing facility in the Alabaster, AL area seeking qualified Maintenance Tech. In this role, candidate's main responsibility is installation, repair, and general maintenance of plant equipment and machinery. This is a full time position on a 2nd shift. Responsibilities include:
- Install and maintain plant equipment and machinery.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and identify equipment issues and repair as needed.
- Follow work procedures and instructions in regards to maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications:
- Certification or completed coursework in HVAC, Hydraulics, Electrical, Welding, or Industrial Maintenance.
- Two years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience reading mechanical drawings, blue prints, and electrical schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
