Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents, guests, and team members. 

What You’ll Be Doing
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements throughout the community’s buildings and equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks including drywall repair, wood repair, and light painting projects.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to community alarms, resident emergency calls, and other emergency situations as directed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas while providing exceptional customer service to residents and staff. 

 About You
• Minimum of one year of experience in carpentry, building maintenance, general repair, or a related field.
• Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, and maintenance equipment.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification upon hire or within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with residents and team members.
• Experience with maintenance work order systems (CMMS) preferred.
