Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:
A growing industrial facility in the Alpharetta area is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operations. This hands-on role is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Primary Duties:

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on facility systems and production equipment

• Identify and resolve issues related to electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical systems

• Service HVAC units, lighting systems, and general infrastructure

• Respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs and after-hours calls as required

• Maintain accurate service logs and repair documentation

• Follow all safety standards and internal procedures to ensure a safe working environment

• Use various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

• Support facility improvements, equipment installations, and renovation projects

• Coordinate with third-party service providers for specialized repairs and upgrades

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications or vocational training a plus)

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility or equipment maintenance

• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

• Ability to interpret technical documents including blueprints and manuals

• Experience with digital maintenance tracking systems is preferred

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset

• Must be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces

• Comfortable working in environments with temperature changes, dust, and noise
