Maintenance Technician

Tesoro Group is seeking a maintenance technician to assist in preparing for an inspection with one of our clients in Annandale, MN (55302). This role is contracted and assisting with a turns checklist. This role will be working on Thursday 7/23 - Friday 7/24.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors, and other parts of the building.
• Maintains the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up, shoveling, and sweeping curb/dumpster area, maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
• Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
• Install, repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
• Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwashers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace and/or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains, repair/replace leaking faucets, remove/replace caulking, replace different components of toilets, adjust/replace door closures, and replace locks, deadbolts, and passage locks.
• Always demonstrate courteous and efficient customers.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2 years’ experience in residential maintenance.
• Be able to work independently and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check
