The Maintenance Technician Assistant supports the Maintenance Technician and maintenance team with routine repair tasks, preventive maintenance, and general facility upkeep. This role helps ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the building, equipment, and company grounds. The ideal candidate is reliable, willing to learn, and able to follow instructions carefully. Key Responsibilities: - Assist Maintenance Technicians with repairs, installations, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Perform basic maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and making minor repairs.
- Help inspect equipment and facilities to identify potential issues.
- Support preventive maintenance activities by preparing tools, materials, and work areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, workstations, and storage areas.
- Assist with moving, assembling, or disassembling equipment and furniture as needed.
- Respond to basic maintenance requests and report complex issues to the Maintenance Technician.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete assigned work orders and document tasks performed.
- Provide general support to other departments when maintenance assistance is needed.
Work Environment: - Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Exposure to tools, machinery, and varying temperatures.
