Central Atlanta Progress, Inc. (CAP) is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(4) corporation governed by a Board of Directors of Atlanta’s business leaders who are dues-paying members of the corporation, CAP is a community development organization that provides leadership, programs, and services to preserve and strengthen the economic vitality and quality of life of Downtown Atlanta.
The Atlanta Downtown Improvement District Inc. (ADID) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation funded through a Community Improvement District within which commercial property owners pay special assessments and is governed by a Board of Directors of nine private-and public-sector leaders. ADID strives to create a clean, safe, hospitable, and vibrant environment for Downtown Atlanta.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor the Public Space Maintenance Technician II will perform tasks that support a clean, orderly, and well-maintained Downtown Atlanta. ADID endeavors to care for and maintain the “curb appeal” of the public spaces – streets, sidewalks, parks, and plazas – within the belief that a tidy and clean environment contributes towards a safe environment and the overall quality of life of the community. This role will directly perform maintenance tasks and repairs to maintain physical equipment, structures, and systems within the public realm.

POSITION CLASSIFICATION (this is not a remote position)
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site in-person, non-exempt position.
