Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for our client located in Attleboro, MA

Schedule: 7:00am – 3:30pm, M-F

Pay rate: $30 per hour.

Summary:

Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structure, pipe and electrical systems, following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings, using hand tools, power tools, engine lathes and milling machines hoists, cranes, and measuring and testing instruments. Fabricate and/or modify machinery and parts as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Visually inspects and tests machinery or equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment
Listens for unusual sounds from machinery or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operations variations with the manager to diagnose problem or repair equipment.
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand or power tools
Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
Installs and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic, and repairs and/or replace gages, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
Repairs and maintains Physical structures
Installs new equipment and machinery according to blueprints and other specifications.
Installs, Programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment using programmable controllers.
Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
Fabricates and repairs benches, partitions or other wooden structures.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment throughout the manufacturing facility, utilizing PM software for updating data
Janitorial, light grounds keeping, and snow removal.
Maintains Plant Layout.

Position Requirements:

Read and write in English.
Computer Knowledge to enter data into production applications and complete the required reports.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to lift heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds (or more if applicable)
Willingness to work as a team player.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Between 4 to 10 years of trade school, vocational education or work experience.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Basic Mathematical skills required.
