At LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan, our Maintenance Technicians keep rides, exhibits, and building systems running safely and smoothly so guests can enjoy a fully operational attraction every day.

This is a hands-on maintenance role (not a general or administrative position). You’ll be actively troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment across the attraction.

️ What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on technical maintenance role — no desk work.

 Perform daily maintenance and repairs on rides, attractions, and facility systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, AV, and operational issues in real time
 Complete preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure safety
藺 Use hand and power tools to repair equipment and systems
 Support general upkeep (repairs, painting, installations, basic facility work)
 Maintain accurate logs, safety checks, and documentation
欄 Work closely with your team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently

 Bottom line: When something breaks, you help fix it.

藺 What We’re Looking For

We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on maintenance or technical experience:

• 1+ years of maintenance, facilities, mechanical, or technical experience
• Comfortable working with tools and equipment daily
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable and comfortable working a consistent 40-hour weekly schedule
• Team-oriented with a proactive, “fix it” mindset

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• HVAC, plumbing, or electrical exposure
• Experience in attractions, entertainment, manufacturing, or facility maintenance
• Carpentry, repair, or trade assistant experience

 This Role Is Not a Fit If You Are Looking For:

• Office or administrative work
• Customer service–only roles
• Part-time or flexible/irregular scheduling
• Entry-level roles with no technical or hands-on experience
