Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair of facility equipment and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting issues, and continuously developing technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facility systems
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks accurately and on schedule
- Assist with installation, modification, and removal of equipment as needed
- Develop and apply skills across mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing systems
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and completed tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members, engineering, and operations to support production goals
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities
- Support additional maintenance and operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2–3+ years of hands-on maintenance or technical experience preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment is a plus
Skills & Abilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing systems
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and on a team
- Willingness to learn and grow technical skillsets
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and occasional dust exposure
- Required to wear appropriate PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- May require flexible scheduling, including overtime, to meet operational needs
