Maintenance Technician - Automated Systems

Our client, a leading organization in material handling and automation, is seeking a Mech & Robotics Tech to join their dedicated team. As a Mech & Robotics Tech you will be an integral part of the Operations Maintenance team supporting the efficient functioning of automated systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mech & Robotics Tech 

Location: North Haven, CT

Pay Range: $29.36/hr.

What's the Job?

• Support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and standards.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with accurate documentation to ensure equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• At least 1 year of experience with PC competency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Physical ability to move up to 49 lbs, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks during long shifts.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
