Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for leading a team of technicians who will provide equipment reliability by providing troubleshooting, repairs to a wide range of manufacturing processing equipment. This maintenance professional has the opportunity to work any of their three shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Support the PM Program with the goal of reducing equipment downtime
• Follow OSHA and government roles, including Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. (GMPs) and personal/food safety Programs (SQF)
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and develop a plan to resolve equipment issues, including PLCs, plant electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic, and general mechanical systems
• Maintenance record of work performed through the use of work orders, software
• Consistently seek opportunities for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a high-volume food manufacturing setting
• Ability to wire electrical motors, stick and MIG weld, and use basic machine tools
