Meyer Utility Structures is searching for a Maintenance Technician for our location in Bay Minette, AL. As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your knowledge to provide electrical maintenance and troubleshoot equipment and electrical systems in our facility. The use of blueprints, schematics, small/power tools and electronics test equipment will be used to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.

Job Summary
What youll do:
• Troubleshoot breakdowns on production equipment and mechanical components • Perform complex repairs on production equipment motors and mechanical components, including basic pneumatics and hydraulics • Read schematics - pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical • Perform preventative maintenance and testing on electrical wiring and components • Move/install equipment • Perform high voltage electrical repairs (e.g., controls, relays) • Maintain and complete all required records • Follow all safety rules and practices • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you'll need:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience • Basic troubleshooting/3 Phase/equipment up to 600v • The ability to wire electrical panels • The ability to install equipment • The ability to maintain good attendance • Experience with rebuilding and aligning bearings and housings • Experience installing, mounting and aligning electric motors
