Maintenance Technician - Belle Glade

Manpower is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a full-time opportunity with a company in Belle Glade, FL.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 per hour

We're looking for candidates with recent, hands-on building maintenance experience. A consistent work history in general building maintenance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general building maintenance and repair tasks.

• Assist with unit turnovers to ensure units are clean, safe, and move-in ready.

• Paint interior and exterior surfaces, including preparing surfaces and applying finishes.

• Replace windows and screens.

• Perform minor plaster patching and repairs.

• Repair gutters and downspouts.

• Repair faucets, toilets, tanks, bowls, and clear plumbing blockages.

• Install and repair plumbing fixtures.

• Operate and maintain maintenance tools and equipment.

• Travel between different work sites - all within the same city

• Assist with grounds maintenance as needed.

• Respond to emergency, on-call, and after-hours maintenance requests when required.

• Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Recent, long-term experience performing building maintenance is required.

• Experience with plumbing, painting, drywall, basic carpentry, and general building repairs.

• Working knowledge of building maintenance practices, tools, materials, and safety procedures.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

• Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.

• Must be bondable.

• High school diploma or GED required.
