The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of equipment, machines, auxiliary equipment, and facility systems—particularly during plant startup and ramp-up to full production. This position requires a dependable, motivated professional with strong industrial maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, robots, and supporting equipment to ensure consistent production readiness.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
Set up, align, and calibrate molds to support efficient production launches.
Maintain building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and hydraulic components.
Schedule and complete routine maintenance tasks.
Order, track, and manage spare parts inventory in coordination with the procurement department.
Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Demonstrate reliability, commitment, and a strong work ethic in all maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical diploma or equivalent hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience maintaining injection molding equipment in a manufacturing environment.
2–3 years’ experience as a maintenance, electronics, or robotics technician.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, robotics, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing.
Ability to work with electrical systems ranging from 12VDC to 480VAC three-phase.
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new processes quickly.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Must be punctual and dependable.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
