We are seeking a skilled and dependable
Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable operation of our printing and production equipment. The primary focus of this role is to keep production lines running efficiently while maintaining high product quality.
The ideal candidate understands how equipment and processes work and can troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair problems effectively.
Key Responsibilities: - Cup-forming, printing, packaging, and material-handling equipment
- High-speed converting machinery
- Sealing, stacking, leaks, cup shape, and print-registration issues
- Mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, sensor, motor, and drive systems
- Food safety, SQF, lockout/tagout, preventive maintenance, and cup quality
Qualifications: - Five (5) plus years’ related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience in the paper cup industry is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in the safe and effective use of a variety of hand and power tools
- Ability to understand how systems work to fix problems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials, typically up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, walking, and repetitive hand movements
Compensation: Starting rate is $30.00 per hour; final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience
