What We Do:
Camp Woodcraft, one of California's original and most inclusive camp programs, serves as a year-round outdoor education and retreat center in Big Bear. From science-based school retreats, summer sleepaway camp, and wellness retreats to family camps and community gatherings, we provide immersive opportunities for young people to connect, learn, and grow in nature.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping facilities safe, functional, and welcoming. They have a broad skill set across carpentry, plumbing, electrical and groundskeeping, and are comfortable responding to both routine and urgent maintenance needs. Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented, they thrive in a dynamic environment, supporting daily operations, special events, and seasonal projects while helping the camp fulfill its mission.

Role Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of the camp's facilities, ensuring the property remains safe, functional, and visually appealing. Working under the direction of the Site Operations Manager, this role involves hands-on tasks ranging from routine maintenance to minor repairs and special projects. This is a full-time, hourly position, ideal for detail-oriented individuals with a broad range of maintenance skills and a commitment to supporting the camp's mission.
