Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Continually inspect the E-coat area for mechanical & electrical issues
- Install, replace, and repair pumps, valves, bearings, gauges, and other components
- Inspect equipment, seal pumps, voltages and amps on electrical equipment
- Knowledge and experience using basic shop equipment and fabrication
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Required Experience
- Previous maintenance experience is required
- Knowledge of low- and high-pressure hydraulics
- Knowledge and understanding of pneumatics
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- AC motors and variable frequency drives
- Some knowledge of controls, Allen Bradley programmable controllers and operator interfaces
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office/computer skills
- Training through a Vocational/Technical School, State Certified/Union Apprenticeship completion preferred
