Hello,Direct-Hire employment opportunity.CNC Maintenance Mechanic on 1st shift.A fabrication manufacture in Bloomingdale IL is in search of a senior-level, hands-on maintenance role supporting CNC and metal fabrication equipment. The technician will be a key resource on the production floor, responsible for advanced troubleshooting, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement.Role Details
- Title: Maintenance Technician III
- Location: Bloomingdale, IL (100% onsite)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Pay Rate: $40-45hour
- 5–8+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Direct, hands-on experience with:
- Press Brakes
- CNC Laser Machines
- CNC Turret Press Equipment
- Combo Machines (laser/punch)
- TRUMPF
- Amada
- Toyokoki
- Diamond
- strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues
- Experience reading electrical schematics and basic PLC troubleshooting
- Preventive/predictive maintenance and root cause analysis experience

Responsibilities
- Advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC lasers, CNC punching machines, and press brakes
- Diagnosing complex issues across mechanical and electrical systems
- Leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Minimizing downtime through root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, PLC logic (basic), and technical manuals
- Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimization of fabrication equipment
- Serving as a senior technical resource on the production floor
