Location: Boise, IDPay: $21.00–$25.00/hourSchedule: Part-Time | Approximately 25 hours/week | Flexible hours between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–FridayAre you the kind of person who can walk into a maintenance issue, figure out what's wrong, and get it taken care of?We're looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician in Boise, Idaho to help keep our residential properties safe, attractive, functional, and resident-ready.This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving. You'll handle general repairs, troubleshoot maintenance concerns, prepare vacant units for new residents, and respond to work orders across assigned properties.If you take pride in doing quality work, can work independently, and enjoy making sure things are done right, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoPerform general maintenance and repairs across assigned residential propertiesDiagnose and resolve plumbing, electrical, and basic mechanical issuesRepair or replace fixtures, appliances, drywall, and other building componentsComplete interior and exterior painting as neededPrepare vacant units for new residents within established timelinesRespond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requestsComplete work orders accurately and on timeTroubleshoot maintenance concerns and coordinate solutions with site staff and supervisorsConduct move-in and move-out inspections with site staffMaintain property inventory and coordinate supply needsKeep maintenance areas clean, organized, and equipment in proper working conditionMaintain proper key control and security proceduresCoordinate and monitor work completed by third-party vendorsReport property or unit concerns, including safety hazards, housekeeping issues, or pest activityAssist with snow removal and other seasonal property maintenanceParticipate in the on-call rotation and help ensure emergency maintenance coverageAttend required meetings, inspections, and training sessionsFollow applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including Fair Housing and ADA requirementsWhat We're Looking For1+ years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably within property management or multifamily housingWorking knowledge of general maintenance and repair practicesAbility to troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issuesDependable, punctual, and accountableComfortable completing tasks independently and managing competing prioritiesAbility to read and follow work orders, procedures, and written instructionsBasic math skills for measurements and material usageBasic computer skills for communication, work orders, and documentationProfessional communication skills when working with residents, employees, vendors, and managementAbility to work in changing environments and adjust priorities as neededTools & Additional RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferredMust provide and maintain basic hand tools, including drills, saws, screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenchesAbility to travel between assigned propertiesValid driver's license and ability to meet company auto insurance requirementsAbility to work additional hours as neededMust successfully pass a background check and drug screeningPhysical RequirementsThis is an active, hands-on maintenance position. You must be able to:Frequently stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouchRegularly lift and move up to 25 poundsFrequently lift 50–100 poundsOccasionally lift more than 100 pounds with assistanceWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsUse required personal protective equipment while performing maintenance tasksSafely perform detailed inspections, repairs, and equipment operationWhy You'll Like This RoleYou'll have the flexibility of a part-time, approximately 25-hour workweek, with hours scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
