Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience required
  • Experience with HVAC systems; EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies
  • Basic maintenance tools and reliable transportation required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including make-ready work
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment
  • Maintain the appearance and functionality of community grounds, amenities, and common areas
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
  • Manage maintenance inventory and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and applicable regulations
  • Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as needed
