Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience required
- Experience with HVAC systems; EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies
- Basic maintenance tools and reliable transportation required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including make-ready work
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment
- Maintain the appearance and functionality of community grounds, amenities, and common areas
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Manage maintenance inventory and supplies
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and applicable regulations
- Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as needed
