Description:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of industrial heat treating furnaces, vacuum washers, conveyor systems, blasting equipment, robotics and general building maintenance. Duties include:
- Approaching all tasks with a safety first mindset, protecting the well being of yourself and your team.
- Optimizing equipment and machinery performance through the maintenance and preventative processes prescribed, with limited a fair level of autonomy.
- Partnering with the production team to address and quickly respond to equipment failures and problem resolution.
- Provide support to field engineering services for installation and maintenance at customer sites.
- Facilitate continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices.
- Machine troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Metal fabrication/welding/Pipe fitting.
Hours are: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm with some flexibility. There is a $1.25/hr shift differential for all hours worked between 5 pm and 5 am. Some overtime as needed. There will be occassional travel to customer locations as required. A valid driver's license is required.
