Our multi-unit Dairy Queen team is looking for a Maintenance Technician that brings pride and experience to the job every day to help us WOW our Fans and earn the loyalty of new customers.

Maintenance Technicians set the tone for our standard of care for our Crew Members and our Fans. In this role you will be responsible for minor restaurant equipment and facility cleaning/repairs and upkeep of restaurant exteriors. Maintenance Technicians work short and flexible 2-4 hour shifts

Job Qualifications 

The following requirements must be met in order to qualify for this position.

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to work 10-20 hours per week
• General Maintenance Knowledge
• Knowledge of Restaurant Equipment (preferred)
• Ability to transport oneself to all restaurant locations

Capabilities Requirement:

• Sit, stand, and walk continuously
• Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including the use of ladders
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead
• Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation
• Communicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing
• Maintain effective audio-visual perception and judgement to observe and respond to the environment
• Work in an environment that features hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens
• Operate and work safely with restaurant equipment including, but not limited to, knives, fryers, and potentially hazardous equipment

Responsibilities:

The individual in this position is expected to engage in the following work-related activities and complete all training requirements including:

• Maintain equipment and inform management of maintenance needs
• Clean and maintain guest areas including building exterior
• Enthusiastically represent the Dairy Queen brand
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Other work assigned
