Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection of the building exterior. Notify management of problems/concerns. Perform general grounds-keeping daily.
Maintain outside of plaza area, through the painting of light pole bases, curbs, and railings, sweeping, washing windows, and general cleanup and maintenance. Trim/depose of tree branches, clear rubbish. Keep disposal areas clean and in a safe condition. Report potholes, pavement problems, cracks, crumbling curbs, heaved cement to management so repairs can be made.
On call schedule for the weekend is every 4 weeks. A 40-hour work week with additional overtime opportunity M-F 8 AM -5 PM. Must be able to respond to center emergencies on an on-call basis including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
2 years preferred of satisfactory work experience, preferably in a maintenance-related field.
Ability to work flexible hours and perform duties in an orderly fashion under general supervision.
Proficient in using key technologies, including iPhone/iPad for mobile productivity, Microsoft Outlook for email management, and various platforms for photo sharing, camera usage and basic internet navigation.
Valid New York State drivers license is required.
Ability to navigate a work order system and upload photos as needed.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 75 pounds, operate necessary equipment, climb ladders to heights up to 25 feet.
Extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting while driving to locations.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly
