Our Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring our locations are not only operational but also inviting to our customers, donors, and team members.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our stores looking great and running smoothly. From sparkling windows and clean floors to basic repairs and seasonal snow removal, your work will directly shape the first impression our customers experience. This is a mobile role which means you’ll travel between locations, working in all weather conditions and tackling a variety of tasks using hand and power tools.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of store interiors and exteriors, including windows, floors, and entryways.
  • Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general facility upkeep across multiple locations.
  • Complete assigned maintenance projects, repairs, and improvement tasks in a timely manner.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and professionally when traveling between locations.
  • Keep tools, supplies, and work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Assist with seasonal duties such as snow removal, ice treatment, and exterior upkeep.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent facility issues.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

What You Bring

  • Experience in facility maintenance and repair.
  • Skills such as basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans and instructions.
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly.

Compensation & Perks

  • Hourly Rate: up to $24/hour
