Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate maintenance and construction projects by planning materials, preparing diagrams as needed, and ensuring work aligns with leadership direction and campus needs.
  • Perform a wide range of facility maintenance and construction tasks, including remodeling, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, equipment maintenance, and building repairs to keep campus facilities safe and functional.
  • Maintain building systems and infrastructure through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, irrigation, pool, cable, and other mechanical systems.
  • Lead and support volunteer and mission teams by organizing tools, materials, and work areas to create a productive and meaningful service experience while ensuring project success.
  • Respond to maintenance needs and emergencies by completing scheduled inspections, maintaining maintenance records and work orders, participating in on-call rotations, and addressing urgent repair requests across campus.
This is a safety‑sensitive position requiring strong attention to detail and accountability.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 35 years of responsible experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair, and construction work preferred
  • Good skill in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain, employer paid)
  • Reliable, responsible, and team‑oriented work ethic
  • Ability to work closely with staff, residents, and volunteers
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English
  • Alignment with a faith‑based / Christian mission preferred
  • Final candidates will be required to submit to our security clearance process.
