    Job Description

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs in residential apartments.  Including troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining apartment systems, appliances and facilities. Travel to other properties is necessary. 

    Routine Maintenance & Repairs

    General repairs in apartments, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance issues.

    Plumbing:

    • Leaky faucets
    • Running toilets
    • Installation of toilets/supply lines
    • Installation of faucets
    • Clogged drains
    • Unclogging resetting garbage disposals.
    • Minor leaks

    Electrical:

    • Replacing light bulbs and fuses/circuit breakers.
    • Installation/repairing of minor electrical outlets including GFCi 

    Appliances:

    • Minor appliance repairs such as installing elements.
    • Installation of appliances.
    • Installation of water heaters

    HVAC:

    • Installation of thermostats.
    • Installation of filters.
    • Must be certified to work with refrigerant.

    Other:

    • Minor drywall repair of holes. 
    • Fabrication of window screens/installation of window screens.
    • Adjusting doors and windows for proper fit.
    • Installation of doors.
    • Installation of door handles.
