In this dynamic and growth-oriented role, you will be responsible for taking ownership of preventive maintenance for a leader in high-quality surface manufacturing and working closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability. In a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician II job you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and organizing mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to reduce downtime.
- Troubleshooting and repairing complex systems, including 480V equipment, control panels, and drive systems.
- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of motors, VFDs, sensors, and machine control systems.
- Diagnosing issues in PLC-controlled machinery and assisting with program interpretation.
- Fabricating, welding, and assembling mechanical parts and structural components.
- Performing general facility repairs, including basic HVAC, plumbing, and drywall.
- Coordinating with engineering and external vendors to source replacement parts and technical support.
What you’ll need:
- 1–2+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems (12V to 480V circuits) and the ability to read electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and automation equipment troubleshooting.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training is preferred).
- Physical ability to routinely lift 75 pounds and navigate around large manufacturing equipment.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
