As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll help maintain our luxury villas, spa, and the campus of Gervasi as well as our two sister restaurants located nearby so they consistently look and perform their best.

In this hands-on role, you’ll help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our guest accommodations and resort facilities. From troubleshooting issues to performing maintenance and completing repairs, you’ll play an important part in ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay.

What You’ll Do:

• Use a range of tools, including common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, as well as precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices
• Perform general guest room work orders and maintenance repairs in commercial areas, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and facilities remain in excellent condition
• Complete equipment and system repairs when possible, or coordinate with outside vendors for specialized services
• Inspect facilities daily to identify issues such as litter, mechanical failures, or equipment breakdowns
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools, and reassemble equipment as needed
• Monitor inventory levels for maintenance supplies, equipment, and parts; place orders as needed or request support from the Maintenance Manager
• Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and other equipment
• Follow all safe operating procedures and safety precautions
• Maintain safe, clean, and sanitary conditions throughout the property

Schedule Expectations: Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules based on the business needs of the property, including on-call shifts.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 3 years of maintenance, facilities, building services, or hospitality maintenance experience preferred
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as needed
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call shifts
