Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Chattanooga, TN
Shifts Available: 2nd & 3rd Shift
Pay: Starting at $23.00/hour (Higher pay available based on experience and skill level!)
SpotlightStaff is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join a leading automotive manufacturing facility. If you have experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime
  • Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
  • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
  • Maintain maintenance records and documentation
  • Assist with equipment installations and shop floor equipment moves
  • Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and production efficiency
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Technical school training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, Maintenance Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting 24V DC, 120V, 240V, and 3-phase electrical systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
  • Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints
  • PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
  • Welding experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed
