Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Chattanooga, TN Shifts Available: 2nd & 3rd Shift Pay: Starting at $23.00/hour (Higher pay available based on experience and skill level!) SpotlightStaff is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join a leading automotive manufacturing facility. If you have experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime
Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
Maintain maintenance records and documentation
Assist with equipment installations and shop floor equipment moves
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and production efficiency
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Technical school training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, Maintenance Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
Experience troubleshooting 24V DC, 120V, 240V, and 3-phase electrical systems
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints
PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
Welding experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Must be willing to work overtime as needed
