Midway Windows & Doors is a privately held, family-owned vinyl window and door manufacturer with over 55 years of industry experience. We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our production equipment and facilities operating efficiently.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to respond quickly to maintenance issues while identifying root causes to prevent future problems.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery
Install and service pneumatic and mechanical systems
Perform and document preventive maintenance (PM) tasks
Conduct light electrical work as needed
Operate and interface with machine systems and PLCs
Identify and correct unsafe working conditions
Support production by responding quickly to equipment issues and minimizing downtime
Diagnose root causes of mechanical issues and implement effective solutions
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
