Bring your hands-on maintenance expertise to a precision-focused manufacturing operation in Chicago, IL, where your work directly supports uptime and quality. In this Manufacturing Maintenance Technician opportunity, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and keep production equipment and facility systems running at peak performance.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Maintenance Technician position include:
- 5-10 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, and control systems (PLC knowledge is a plus)
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and lockout/tagout procedures
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Comfort working with chemicals and wearing required PPE
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems; respond to breakdowns to minimize production disruptions; partner with production and engineering teams for continuous improvement; support industrial wastewater treatment and hazardous waste compliance; maintain facility infrastructure
Salary: $35-$38/hour.
