Shift/Hours: Mon-Thurs, 6am - 4pm

Overtime: Must be flexible and able to work Fridays as needed.

Pay: $32 - $38 an hour

Benefits: 1st day benefits (medical/dental/vision/401k)

Vacation Time : 2 weeks paid vacation per year, 1st year prorated to start date.

The Opportunity:

Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs.

Responsibilities include:
  • Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems.
  • Work on motors, conveyors, AC/DC, and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Will work with steam and boiler controls, and mechanical power drives.
  • Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete Timely and accurate paperwork.
What you need to succeed:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred.
  • Strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment.
  • Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
  • Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives.
  • Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits.
  • Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches.
  • A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability preferred.
  • Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills.
  • Corrugated background is a plus, but not required

    • 3-person team
      • 2 Maintenance Technicians
      • 1 Maintenance Supervisor
  • Equipment supported on Day Shift:
    • 5 pieces of equipment running daily
    • 3 support pieces of equipment
    • 2 additional pieces run as needed
The starting rate is $32 - $38 an hour , depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 10 days of paid vacation, and 10 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
