Job Overview
We are hiring a dependable and safety-focused Preventive Maintenance Technician for a growing manufacturing facility in Conover, NC. This role is responsible for supporting preventative maintenance activities, equipment inspections, lubrication, minor repairs, and maintenance documentation in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Ideal candidates will have mechanical experience, basic electrical knowledge, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment

Clean, inspect, and document machinery and components

Verify oil levels and add oil when necessary

Clean and lubricate chains

Replace grease lines and broken air lines

Grease bearings and replace filters
-
Change belts, oil filters, and air filters

Identify worn or damaged components

Identify and clean up oil leaks
-
Remove and reinstall machine guards safely

Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records using a tablet

Create work orders (WO's) for needed repairs

Follow maintenance checklists and safety procedures
Required Qualifications

Mechanical training or hands-on mechanical experience

Basic electrical knowledge

Safety training or industrial safety experience

Ability to use tablets or electronic systems for documentation

Strong attention to detail and reliability
Preferred Qualifications

Electrical training or troubleshooting experience
