What You’ll Do
- Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (turns), including painting
- Perform general maintenance: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry
- Maintain community grounds, buildings, and amenities
- Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance calls
- Track and manage maintenance inventory and supplies
- Follow all safety policies and industry regulations
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous maintenance or handyman experience (multifamily preferred)
- Painting experience required
- HVAC experience preferred; EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) a plus
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
- Ability to be part of an on-call rotation
- Must have basic tools and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
