Maintenance Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive, highly skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong emphasis on machinery troubleshooting and automated systems. In this vital role, you will ensure the optimal operation and reliability of advanced machinery, automated equipment, and facility systems. Your primary focus will be diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex electromechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain a safe, high-performing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Machinery & Automation Troubleshooting: Swiftly diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems using schematics, PLC logic, and technical manuals.
• Preventative & Predictive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on automated equipment, production machinery, HVAC/R units, and commercial appliances.
• System Installation & Upgrades: Install, calibrate, and test new machinery, automated components, and mechanical/electrical hardware following strict manufacturer and safety standards.
• System Diagnostics & Repair: Conduct hands-on repairs on critical operational assets, including specialized equipment, refrigeration units, and utility infrastructure.
• Documentation & Asset Management: Maintain precise records of maintenance logs, diagnostic findings, parts inventory, and completed work orders using MRO software.
• Emergency Response & Team Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize urgent work orders, reduce operational downtime, and resolve critical equipment failures promptly.
• Logistics & Safety: Safely operate company vehicles to transport specialized diagnostic tools and equipment across facility sites as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven Technical Background: Strong experience as a Maintenance Technician, Machine Maintenance Specialist, or Automation Technician in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Expert Troubleshooting Skills: Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated system failures.
• Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret advanced electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, ladder logic, and technical manuals.
• Core Systems Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of HVAC/R systems, commercial machinery, and MRO processes.
• Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to translate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders, alongside a collaborative, leadership-oriented mindset.
• Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
