Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime and extend the life of assets.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, learning, and applying lean methodologies.
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocol.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
  • Strong mechanical skills, including experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyance systems.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, including the ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and the use of test and measurement equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of performance in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. A relevant certification or degree is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as necessary.
