What You'll Do:

• Identify and perform repairs to building, equipment, and property.
• Use a variety of skill sets to perform repairs and maintenance – carpentry, mechanical, electrical, metalworks, plumbing, and painting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document work and purchase orders, and material lists.
• Gather information to provide recommendations on requested improvements and/or modifications to company facilities.
• Regularly inspect company buildings, equipment, and property; generate work orders for necessary repairs to ensure company property is kept in good operating condition; ensure quality and safety of work performed.
• Assist with grounds maintenance, including but not limited to lawn and parking lot maintenance and snow removal.
• Assist in administering all operations in accordance with OSHA, ADA, and other specified legal requirements.

What You Need to Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with schematics preferred
• Valid forklift driver license; Lockout/Tagout certified; Hazardous Communications / Material Handling – Training done in house
• Must be able to sit, stand, and move easily; must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, squat, and
• Required to frequently walk; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with arms and hands
• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Self-starter who can begin projects and work independently
• Ability to take direction from others; eager to learn with excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Able to operate technical and basic woodworking equipment and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Good technical and mathematical skills (micrometer, caliper, fractions, decimals) and operate technical woodworking equipment
• Capable of generating original ideas, brainstorming, and developing innovative solutions; problem solving skills
