Maintenance Technician

Personnel Resources is hiring and Experienced Industrial Maintenance Tech for a 12- hour Night Shift.

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.

• Must have Knowledge of general building and equipment repair and maintenance. Sufficient mechanical knowledge and experience to identify and correct mechanical malfunctions.

• A team player, ability to perform task or functions completely with minimal supervision.

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructional manuals, vendor manuals, technical data, and work orders.

• Use of hand and power tools. Proficient in equipment repair and machinery installation.

Working Conditions: Must be able to work a 40-hour week or be assigned to a crew working 12- hour shifts with occasional overtime, when needed. Must be able to do heavy lifting

Duties & Responsibilities: Inspects, maintains, and repairs equipment to include, but is not limited to basic painting, simple carpentry, routine plumbing repairs, and some welding.

Performs and follows through on regular & preventive maintenance on equipment.

Performs routine building maintenance functions as needed.

Receives work orders and schedules own assignments.

Effectively multi-tasks and prioritizes work.

Follows standard safety procedure, corrects safety and environmental hazards, and reports them to the lead-man or supervisor immediately.

Maintains work areas in a clean, neat, and orderly condition at all times.
