Maintenance Technician

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site''s business goals and objectives. Also responsible for maintaining facility grounds throughout the seasons.

Position Details:

Location: East Rochester, NY

Hours: 6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri

Pay: $18/hr. to start (merit-based increases within 6 months)

Duration: Temp-to-hire position (opportunity to convert to perm after 3 months)

Duties:

• Perform duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility''s equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of manufacturing equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine down time.
• Perform various mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Clean and maintain facility grounds as needed

Required Experience:

• Electric, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
• Machine building experience
• Machine wiring and programming experience
